Who are you?
I’m Russell Moskowitz, the founder of Jump Into Shape. Jump Into Shape is a men’s fitness program with a mission to build a healthier body for our soul.
Why did you choose your profession?
When I turned 40, I discovered jump roping as an easy, convenient, and cost-effective way to stay in shape and preemptively combat a family history of diabetes and heart problems. After losing 14 pounds the first year using Crossrope© weighted jump ropes for 10 minutes a day, three times a week, I was hooked on fitness. In subsequent years, I kept off the weight and added muscle mass.
What’s unique about your business?
I understand that it’s hard for people to find time for exercise. We offer live streaming classes that are as short as 10 minutes. This gives our clients an efficient group fitness experience, wherever they are.
What inspired you to launch your own business/firm?
Inspired by my own experiences and needs, I created Jump Into Shape’s fitness program. After teaching private classes for a year, Jump Into Shape now offers live streaming classes so men can exercise from anywhere in the world. Participants choose a 10-minute or 45-minute challenging, fun class through a computer, tablet, or smartphone and see the instructor and other participants, creating a virtual class experience.
What do you love best about being a business owner?
I value the autonomy I have in choosing my own schedule and priorities. It is also very humbling for clients to literally tell me that Jump Into Shape has changed their life.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and amazing 4 kids and learning Torah.
How has Office Evolution helped you be successful?
As a new fitness business, I couldn’t afford to rent space full-time. Office Evolutions flexible reservation schedule was exactly was I was looking for. Now, I have the space I need, when I need it at a price I can afford.
