Who are you?
I am the founder and managing partner at the Oak Hill Law Group. We’re a full-service firm with specialization in family law, wills & trusts, small business representation, and educational law. Essentially, we’re a civil litigation and advocacy firm which draws on my background on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley to give our clients a competitive advantage as they navigate all of the issues confronting families in Northern Virginia today.
I try my best to combine that expertise with supportive and understanding client relationships in order to provide “peace of mind” and the highest quality work all while running the firm efficiently and keeping our fees reasonable.
Why did you choose your profession?
Atticus Finch.
I was an avid reader as a kid, and when I came across “To Kill a Mockingbird,” I was hooked. I loved the notion that I could make meaningful impacts on people’s lives by reading, writing, and talking. I love to analyze problems from all angles, I love to figure out the efficiencies and incentives in every conversation, and… lawyering is simply where my thoughts go all by themselves. It never turns off and so why not make a career out of the things I’m interested in?
What do you do for fun?
Nothing beats time with my family. I’ve got a lovely wife and four wonderful kids, and while there are plenty of days when the hectic pace of distance learning gives me more grey hair, I’m lucky to have them all and I love spending time with them, whether it’s playing baseball, reading books, watching movies, playing music — they all have their own interests and strengths and I think mostly I just like watching them grow up into happy and well adjusted adults, and I love to support them in any way that I can.
