Entrepreneur recently highlighted 100 Powerful Women of 2020, among the group, you’ll find Shelly Bade. Shelley was a pioneer of coworking starting her own three locations in Phoenix, AZ back in 2009 with her business partner Jill Pogrant.
Originally encountering Office Evolution as the competition, Shelley and Jill decided to join forces and adopt the technologies and culture for their franchises. Tragedy struck shortly thereafter when Jill passed away after battling breast cancer. The Ohana culture of family, support and working towards a common goal was extended to Shelley and the camaraderie persists in the current pandemic of COVID-19.
“Oh my Gosh, it’s not me just going it alone... we have a forum in which we can collaborate and work through issues. So being a franchisee has made me feel that much more empowered.”
Shelley provides a community for the Dreamers, Risk-takers, and Doers in the Phoenix metro areas with private offices, meeting rooms, drop-in space and the signature Office Evolution concierge care of a full-time Business Center Manager.
