Work From Home - The Perfect Life?
Working from home sounds like the perfect life. Right? When I first proposed it to my boss over 30 years ago he wasn’t too excited about it. Let’s look at the pros and cons of working from home.
Positives
There are several reasons why people work from home, including:
- Flexibility: Working from home provides individuals with the flexibility to set their own schedules and work at their own pace. This can be especially helpful for individuals with families or other responsibilities that require them to have a flexible work schedule.

And when they do need to actually physically meet with someone they can rent a short-term private office or conference room for a professional look rather than the local coffee shop.

Not-so-positives
While working from home can have many benefits, there are also some challenges that people may face, including:

Using temporary, flexible office space can help alleviate isolation. Overall, Work From Home can be an effective, cost-saving, and efficient way to get your work done. But it is always good to have a back-up plan for when you need a change of plans, environment or a way to deal with some of the disadvantages that are inherent in such an arrangement.
