Member Spotlight: Rose Marie Iskowitz, Click Start Biz
This year we would like to spotlight an Office Evolution member every month to help inspire other business owners, entrepreneurs and members of the local downtown Somerville community. We are amazed every day by the different businesses we have the pleasure of working with. It’s amazing what they have achieved, how they have reached success and how they have impacted the local community.
We are very excited to start January with a spotlight on long-time member Rose Marie Iskowitz (“Ro”) and her business Click Start Biz . Ro first joined Office Evolution in 2017, but her story starts long before that. She first worked her way up the ranks in the corporate world – an experience that gives many entrepreneurs the desire and appreciation for starting and operating their own business. After leaving the corporate world Ro launched two patented baby products which were sold at Babies R’ Us, before starting her own digital marketing agency.
It’s then that she worked with so many different local businesses through networking groups and it is also when she joined Office Evolution. She has always enjoyed helping businesses to leverage digital capabilities to maximize exposure to potential clients. She actually helped Office Evolution to create some online videos as well!
With one particular client, she helped create new revenue stream through an online baseball coaching course. As you can imagine, this was a real game changer during the pandemic (read the full case study at https://clickstartbiz.com/#dominate-the-diamond). This helped Ro identify an expertise in monetizing a client’s specific area of expertise through online content development. She really enjoyed this and decided to laser focus on this specific aspect of digital marketing.
That sparked the creation of Click Start Biz – a specialized firm focused on turning knowledge into a revenue stream. Ro has developed a process and a system to help companies to capture that knowledge and find the right audience that finds that knowledge valuable. As if Ro’s story is not amazing enough, Ro is also a breast cancer survivor and was recently honored during breast cancer awareness month in downtown Somerville (you may have noticed her photos on Main St. last October!). We look forward to seeing how Ro continues to do amazing things for her business and for her clients.
