We’re thrilled to celebrate our OE Boulder member, Chef Daniel Asher of EcoChef Culinary, who was recently featured in the latest issue of Boulder Community Connections!
The best part? It came as a complete surprise! Daniel only found out when friends began reaching out to congratulate him. Even more fun, the magazine was sitting right in our Boulder OE lobby the whole time!
For Chef Daniel Asher, hospitality is far more than service; it’s an act of grace, thoughtfulness, and responsibility. Every guest interaction is a chance to help create a moment in someone’s story, and every meal is an opportunity to nourish with integrity.
His philosophy extends beyond the plate: sourcing from sustainable farms and artisans, advocating for resilient local food systems, and addressing food waste as both an epidemic and an opportunity.
With thoughtful choices today, Daniel believes the culinary world can transform tomorrow—ensuring not only memorable dining experiences, but also a future where no one goes hungry.
This vision comes to life through EcoChef Culinary, founded in 2004 as a multifaceted sustainable hospitality company that combines wellness-based cuisine with transformative culinary experiences rooted in sustainability and health.
Their impressive client list ranges from senators and athletes to rockstars and spiritual leaders, all drawn to Daniel’s vision of hospitality grounded in social justice, financial viability, and environmental stewardship.
Daniel and his team have called Office Evolution Boulder home for the past year, and the local community continues to deeply influence his work.
“Boulder is a very special place with a high sense of purpose, driven towards social good,” Daniel shares. “Working within this paradigm gives me a framework to approach my work within the culinary world, helping me form meaningful partnerships with local and regional supply chains.”
Daniel emphasizes that local businesses are vital to building stronger, more sustainable food systems.
“Local businesses guide consumer behavior and educate the community on the importance of relationships,” he explains. “As technology pushes us toward convenience, it’s essential to maintain our connection with local farmers, ranchers, bakers, and growers. Choosing locally grown, nutrient-dense food may cost more upfront, but it saves countless health expenses down the road.”
At the heart of EcoChef Culinary’s mission is building community through food. Daniel and his team strive to be catalysts for change through advocacy, partnerships, and education.
Their current initiatives include:
Being part of the Office Evolution community has helped Daniel and his business flourish.
“OE has been instrumental in creating a meaningful space to be productive, to focus and refine, and to feel part of a community of successful entrepreneurs,” Daniel says. “Christie and the team have really leaned into a culture of support and nourishment, for which I have tremendous gratitude.”
He adds that coworking brings together a diverse mix of innovators—from tech and wellness to food and finance. This diversity fosters the creativity and collaboration that fuel his mission of hospitality and sustainability.
“There’s a spirit of innovation and enthusiasm here that leads to higher states of creativity and opportunity. We love it here!”
We’re proud to have you as part of the OE Boulder community—always leading with purpose, creativity, and heart.
