Summer is in full swing—which means the golf clubs are out… and if you’re not careful, your back might go out with them. (Trust me, I’ve been there.)
When I landed my first business development role, my brother didn’t say “Congrats.”
He said: “You better get good at golf.”
He wasn’t wrong.
A surprising number of business relationships are built on that patch of perfectly trimmed grass the Scots once dubbed a golf course. And pretty quickly, it became clear I needed to work on my golf game just as much as my pipeline.
Golf is expensive. And you need more than a bucket of balls and a dream. You need practice. A coach. A miracle, maybe?
What I didn’t realize was that right here at Office Evolution Lakewood, we had exactly that: a professional-grade golf simulator.
Not some makeshift garage setup with duct tape and foam balls—this is the real deal. It analyzes your swing, gives live feedback, and actually helps you improve your game. All without stepping foot on a course.
And thanks to it? My girlfriend no longer outdrives me. Progress.
Our owners installed the simulator with purpose. They knew something a lot of us in business eventually learn:
Strong relationships aren’t always built in boardrooms.
Whether it’s the shared fun, the casual environment, or the chance to see someone in their element—doing business during a game just hits differently. The experience sticks. The people do too.
That’s why they didn’t just call it a golf simulator.
They named it “The Conference Room.”
And honestly? I love it.
Taking a meeting in a golf simulator? That’s called having your cake and eating it too.
Colorado’s golf season can be unpredictable—but “The Conference Room” is open 365 days a year. Whether it’s snowing, raining, or blazing hot outside, your swing—and your network—can stay in top form.
Curious how a golf simulator can strengthen your business relationships?
Come visit Office Evolution Lakewood and take a swing in The Conference Room. You might just walk away with a better drive—and a better deal.
