How Freelance Consultants Handle Out-of-Town Client Meetings

As a work from home freelance consultant, do you invite clients to your home or try to meet with them at an outside location? For most freelancers, the choice is a no-brainer.

Most home offices aren’t conducive to client meetings. Maybe you’re worried about the appearance of your house, or perhaps you don’t have a great space to hold a meeting. Or, maybe you value your privacy and want to keep your business and personal life as far apart as possible.

Whatever your reason, you have a number of options for finding a neutral place to meet with clients. From coffee shops to a local library or hotel, finding a meeting space isn’t always the hardest part. Here’s a quick overview of the most common meeting spaces for freelancers and what you need to consider with each one to achieve the outcome you want.  Read more.
