I would say I’m a risk-taker. Quitting my hedge fund job to build a real estate debt investing platform was a pretty big risk, but I’m happy to be working on something that might actually improve individual investors’ lives rather than just making wealthy people wealthier.
Constitution Lending was founded to democratize access to real estate credit opportunities and provide a better, more seamless lending experience for borrowers. Our platform leverages our founders’ experience investing across the capital structure in real estate, allowing our client’s portfolio to grow with the benefit of our experience. Because of our backgrounds, we understand the risks facing debt and equity stakeholders, and this experience shapes our underwriting in ways that focus on the primary drivers of investor returns.
Our ideal client is any accredited investor who is open to investing in a product (real estate debt) that, in the past, has only existed for the ultra-wealthy.
Having a specific go-to-market plan is something that many companies don’t think much about on a day-to-day basis, but having a plan makes life much easier— especially since we always have a specific target goal that meshes with our longer-term visions.
