I am a doer! I’m very task oriented. I’m also a dreamer, but to be honest, I’m a bit risk averse.

I am an Executive Search Consultant in the hospitality industry, primarily servicing private clubs and resorts, hotels, and restaurants. Our firm is national and has been for about 26 years. I have been with the firm for 13 years and in the industry for 21 years. Also, I am part owner of Frontenac Racquet Club here in town and used to own and manage another local tennis and health club before getting into executive search.

Who is your ideal customer?

Our ideal client is a hospitality organization looking for a GM or any department head in the organization. Our website, www.gsiexecutivesearch.com, lists all the positions we search for.

Being here with OE has been a great fit. Everything I need for work is here and the location is great, being minutes from home and very close to the airport. Clayton is ideal for business and social needs as well. The office has other small biz folks who are very interesting and good to know! I have been here since 2006 and have been very satisfied.

What are your top tips for entrepreneurial success?

Time management and maintaining that fine balance between sales, execution and administration is very important. Responsiveness, creativity, and integrity are also key. You have to be service oriented!
