Member Spotlight: Varon Osorio of Boulder Spanish

Are you a dreamer, risk-taker, or doer?

I am an artist, educator and entrepreneur, and I consider myself a practical dreamer. I also like to think of myself as audacious and resourceful. I believe that in business and in life, the greater the obstacle, the greater the reward.

As fellow entrepreneurs, we would love to hear about your business.

Boulder Spanish is a small school that helps learners of all ages reach their life-long goal of speaking and understanding fluent Spanish. We have group and private classes and offer a wide variety of interesting online Cultura classes and activities. Commitment, dedication, and community is very important to us.

Who is your typical customer?

Our ideal clients are dedicated adults wishing to become fluent Spanish speakers, but we also offer Spanish language classes to children and teens. Often, our clients are professionals, retirees, and travelers, but we support anyone who is dedicated to becoming a fluent Spanish speaker.

What are your top tips for entrepreneurial success?

I would say it’s important to have world-class customer service, to be a life-long learner, and to stay focused. Do not let anything deviate you from your mission and your goals.
