I started Preferred Senior Benefits to help people on Medicare or Medicaid find the right health insurance plans that fit their individual needs. I lost my own grandfather (who I’m named after), and because someone in the Medicare world did not do their job, that experience helped form my passion for my business.  I want to make sure that what happened to my grandfather doesn’t happen to anyone else. Since then, as a local independent broker, I have helped hundreds of people find the right Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medigap, and Prescription Drug plans that work for them and their families. 

Who is your ideal customer?

Anyone sixty-four years old or older who has Medicare or questions about Medicare.

What are your top tips for entrepreneurial success?

Be bold and go for it! Henry Ford said it best—”Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.”
