With more and more business, employees, and startup companies going remote and looking for spaces to work, coworking spaces have seen an increase in the last decade.
Co-working is said to have originated in San Francisco in 2005 as the brainchild of a remote consultant and avid traveler, Brad Neuberg. What started as a loose collection of internet-employed nomads is now a thriving business concept and attractive alternative for entrepreneurs who are looking for the structure of a company job while retaining the ability to work independently.
Coworking (intentionally coined without a hyphen) has seen a huge spike in the last two decades.
With some locations offering the option of a dedicated private office in addition to conference rooms, virtual office solutions and open-concept coworking, the trend is thriving and here to stay. Terms are usually flexible and plans can be customized to fit within any budget.
