Member Spotlight: Precious Johnstone,        Aye Ready Counseling Services

Precious Johnstone is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and owner of Aye Ready Counseling Services (ARC) through which she provides individual and family therapy services. Her 10+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings includes private therapy practice, schools, in-home settings, and military base. Her clinical areas of interest are anxiety disorders, ADHD, depression, parent-child relationships, conflict resolution, couples counseling, behavioral disorders, behavioral addictions, vocational adjustments and life coaching. The foundation of ARC is helping others during a time of need and be a bridge over the troubled waters through this journey of life. 

Precious received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Political Science followed by a master’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University in Community Counseling with the certificate in Behavioral Addictions with a Certificate in Behavioral Addictions and was a Rehabilitation Services Administration Scholar. She is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and hold a Professional Educators License in School Counseling.

She is married to “a wonderful husband”, Kevin, and has three highly active teenagers. She also has a small dog that keeps her youthful and remarkably busy. She enjoys reading and staying current with the latest youth trends and music.

In addition to it being centrally located, Precious said she chose Office Evolution of Cary for her mental health practice because when she and her husband first visited the office, they both experienced an initial warm, welcoming, and professional feeling that made them feel that this was the place for them to start Aye Ready Counseling. She felt that the warm and natural inviting colors in the front office set the tone to assist her clients to begin their healing journey
