GARY A. KRAVITZ is a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate, Corporate and Business, Franchise and Distribution, Lending and Finance, and Tax practice groups. He represents clients in real estate matters, including property acquisition and disposition; office, retail, and industrial lease agreements; option agreements; and real estate related litigation.
Gary counsels clients on business law matters such as structuring LLCs and corporations, asset and stock purchase transactions, preparing employment agreements, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, and shareholder agreements. He also assists clients with financial matters in the areas of lending, foreclosures, workouts, and refinancing.
Admitted to the bar in Michigan, Gary received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1990, earning his Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School in 1993, and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM) from Wayne State University Law School in 2007.
Gary serves as vice president of the Six Rivers Land Conservancy, an organization that helps conserve, sustain, and connect natural areas, lands, and waters.
