Member Spotlight: Stephen Littlewood of Littlewood PLLC

“We’ve been a member of the Office Evolution family for three months. We love the professional and modern nature of the suite. It’s a great place to meet clients. We love the conference rooms and other shared spaces that we will eventually make use of for client meetings, client receptions, as well as, client training seminars and workshops. We also love all the fellow members we have met thus far and look forward to making more connections.”

Littlewood PLLC provides accounting, tax, and business advisory work for closely held companies and their owners. They also offer the following services:

  • Monthly financial reports
  • Annual income, tax, and cash projections
  • Payroll and state and local tax compliance
  • Business advisory services
  • Income tax compliance work for individuals, businesses, Non-profits, estates, and trusts including income tax strategic planning, IRS and local tax dispute resolution and payment plan services

We asked Stephen a little about his company and some ways he helps his clients and here’s what he said:

We like to think of ourselves as “dream-makers” in that we really care about our clients. We enjoy giving them the information and the professional advisory support to make good decisions and to grow and to achieve the reasons they opened their business in the first place. We do this all while helping them achieve personal financial success and longer-term retirement planning.

Two of my clients who I met as waiters in a local restaurant now own their own $450,000 make-up and hair styling studio and academy. Another of my clients, a husband and wife, two years ago, opened their own martial arts studio. The studio now boasts over 300 members and a monthly income of $50,000. A third client, a nurse practitioner, was an employee in a dead-end job and is now a medical testing provider for large companies and enjoys $600,000 in annual fees for her services. On the tax side, we have represented clients who owed the IRS $70,000 – $100,000 in interest and late payment penalties. Our representation had all penalties removed or reduced via an Offer In Compromise Application so the IRS would write off the rest, giving my client a “fresh start”.

Stephen is a proud member of his Episcopal Church Choir. The choir just returned from a week’s residency as the guest performers at Lincoln Cathedral in eastern England. He also takes jujitsu classes at Fifty/50 studio in Falls Church and is working towards his black belt. He is also the proud grandfather of three kids who live in Tampa and refer to him as “PePops”.
